About Us
OptiHealth Sanitariums exist to re-introduce joy, movement, and nature into healthcare. We believe prevention, play, and community are the most powerful medicines. Our outdoor environments encourage families, friends, and neighbors to heal and grow strong together - naturally.
Every OptiHealth Sanitarium is a family-oriented "outdoor hospital” for preventing (and reversing) chronic, lifestyle-related diseases. Each Sanitarium is operated by Health Ministry Volunteers from the Seventh-day Adventist Churches in its surrounding communities.
Our goal is to establish an OptiHealth Sanitarium at every SDA School through its constituent churches. Alternatively, if an SDA Church is not affiliated with a local school, an OptiHealth Sanitarium may be operated by its Health Ministry Volunteers at a local public park.
We are here to serve everyone by providing accessible, affordable, and joyful wellness experiences. Our volunteers include certified Therapeutic Lifestyle Coaches, Medical-Fitness Technicians, Marriage & Family Counselors, and a variety of other health and education professionals.
All proceeds are donated to the local hosting organization to assist local families in need.
